carl jones
I was passing a large farm yesterday and decided to drop in and see the farmer about some permission. He was a great old lad and took his business card out and wrote his farm managers number down for me to give him a call. My first thoughts were I got a chance as the farmer would hAve just told me no. Anyway gave the farm manager a call this morning and he blew me out saying he has 2 shooting already and only grows winter crops??? Onto the next one....... bruno22rf
Next time try telling the manager that the owner said that you would sort him out with a bit of shooting - not exactly fibbing is it?
Blackpowder
Should be down to the owner you would think. I have had previous permission to shoot pigeon and vermin from landowners but only if the gamekeeper agreed, that was 50 years ago so itas been around for a long time employers respecting their employees decision. I did exactly that but still hit a wall. I would have preferred to see him personally but only had his no to go off.

Blackpowder With me speaking to the farmer (owner) personally and then him giving me his farm managers no I thought it was in the bag. I even approached this farm in january and was told the owner is away on holiday til March so come back then.
