margun
Political I'm afraid... We have elections coming up for the role of Police and Crime Commissioner (or PCC- pointless role I know but in charge of licensing) across the country-May 5th in Kent. Having looked at the candidates for Kent, from my perspective Henry Bolton (UKIP candidate) appears to be the best qualified of the bunch (military and policing background). On his campaign website he acknowledges the issues with licensing delays. He goes so far as to say he wants to make Kent a model for the rest of the UK on licensing issues. Not holding much hope that a public figure might actually do something for us, but a vote for Hebry Bolton seems our best chance in Kent. belly47
I wrote much the same a while ago and got shot down in flames, it seems some people would rather just sit and moan about things than get off their backsides and try and change things with the only tool we have which is too vote http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/topic/334211-kent-police-commisioner-elections/

I have written to all candidates for their proposed objectives with respect to firearm licensing in Kent. The conservative is on side as is the English Democrat candidate both of whom acknowledged the existing problems. The Liberals didn't answer my e mail nor did two of the three independents I'll leave you to guess the attitude of a very odd Green (independent) candidate Labour didn't have any idea how or what to ask their man, UKIP was without doubt the most positive so, Henry is my man.
