kennett
After a bit of advice on tidying my miroku mk70 up. The stock and forend are decent bits of timber but currently the forend has the (I guess) original laquer finish and the stock has been oiled, forend should stop with nitromors and a toothbrush but not sure if/how you can strip the stocks oil finish? fitzy
Nitromors is absolutely rubbish these days. Didn't touch a Browning stock and forend, Suggest Starchem as an alternative that actually works. Will also take the oil off. Scrape with Stanley knife blade and rinse off with white spirit. I personally wouldn't be happy soaking a stock in water overnight.

jpigeon3
B&Q own line of products. Dial paint stripper. Half the price of nitromores and does a good job, did my mk with it.
