crowcaller
Had a look at a field that was sown on Thursday, birds in sycamores trees at far end ,a flight line into the trees but coming over a syndicate shoot , the problem was the sowing was head to wind with the birds coming over from the back .put out 18 shells on stick and 5 dead birds from Thursday. First birds came in well and I got both next thing sun came out and was in my eyes so wind and sun both in my face.but had some good sport shot some good birds jinking in the wind ended up with 33 wooden and a crow so not a bad day. Cranfield
Perseverance pays, at least you had some shooting. I am spending a lot of time looking for pigeons and finding loads of rooks/crows instead.

Funny you should say that, I was out last week after a farmer rang me about jackdaws to find literally nothing 😂 I mean no more than 2 birds and one was a pidgeon... Funny how it goes 👍
