Danger-Mouse
Shot a round at Sycamore this morning with Chris1961 and another of our ground`s regulars. Started off by clearing the first cage and by stand 4 I was 37/40. I was shooting well and fancied my chances at a PB. Then stand 5, 10 single teals and I hit a miserable 4/10 to give me 41/50. Still a very good score but it could have been so much better . . . very frustrating sport is this clay shooting!

felly100
If I did 41/50 I'd be on cloud nine.
Danger-Mouse
If I did 41/50 I'd be on cloud nine. A year ago I would have been doing backflips. I suppose I can take comfort in the fact that I can be disappointed with such a decent score. Another couple of birds hit and I would have been happy but with a card that read 10/8/9/10 to finish on a 4 was disappointing.
figgy
I shot at Spennymoor today and missed odd ones I never should have like the last target or one in the middle of ten. Ended on 42 ex 50. Mates were shooting about on par with me today carp If we didn't get frustrated at missing we wouldn't enjoy it as much.
