sako751sg
Looking for a .22LR and pretty set on a Ruger 10/22 with some bling and was wondering how the 12.5inch barrel performs on the Volquartsen? Anybody had an experience of these or know any 10/22s customs for sale? Have looked a fair bit online but nothing really taking the eye too much. Cheers. spready
I've got a fairly standard 10/22 with the 12.5" sporter barrel that rimfire Magic supply! Have to say it's a very accurate little gun! Have a tiny hugget belita moderator on it and it's very short! Great from inside a vehicle , it's account for many rabbits

spready
Yes I'd say it's usable! Shot plenty of rabbits at that range! But don't tend to make a habit of it! Usually 60-70 yards no problem
rimfire4969
I have had my 10/22 for quite a few years. In the early days you could buy custom bits on eBay from the states. I got a Volquatzen trigger unit, buffer bolt, titanium extractor, springs and all manor or other things and great prices, I think the dollar rate was about $2 to a £. I also have a Green Mountain fluted barrel. It is a better rifle than I am a shot.
