iamspuddy
I'm after a bit of advice. i have a 7 yr old springer bitch. she still runs around like a loony no signs of discomfort. if she lies down for 30mins and gets up she is limping on her rear left leg for a minute or so then walks normally. she does lick her lips a lot . does this sound like arthritis and if so can i do anything for her cheers
rjimmer
Try some stuff called Yumove if it is arthritis.

rjimmer
cheers just bought some ill give it a go all the reviews sound really good Let us know how you get on. I've merely been passing on a recommendation, so would like to know if I'm misleading people or not. I use stuff derived from green-lipped mussel and it seems to work for my joints. iamspuddy
well she has been double dosing 4 tabs as recommended instead of the 2 for the first 2 weeks. the limping stopped about a week ago , so i'm well happy. she will be on 2 tabs a day for ever now thanks for the tip
TR1
Not sure where you purchased the Yumove. Lint bells used to be good with discount pricing but not now. If you are using the Working Dog version , in 480 tablet tubs , try Mr Pets or Hyperdrug, Less than £50 and free delivery

subsonicnat
They also have the human tablets as well.
rjimmer
They also have the human tablets as well. Called Imove, I believe. I was told about Yumove by someone whose 3-year-old dog had been treated by the vet for 10 months and could only walk on 3 legs, but was walking normally within 2 weeks of starting the Yumove treatment. Guest
I have a springer bitch who has bad arthritis and has had for past 4 years and vet only told us last year, she is on yumove plus....has been for 3years but it was laser treatment that has sorted her out and also she has thiroid problem which she has tablets for and is a new dog since taken them, pain relief is double dose each day of carprofen!.....don't just give your dog yumove and think it will go away coz it won't,you need to have x-ray done to see how bad it is....yumove is good but salmon only is just as good and costs far less....contact me if it gets worse the lameness don't let them tell you your dog needs put to sleep like they did with me! And also a new thing out is cartrophen its injections into the painfully area it is supposed to be great...atb Robbie.
rjimmer
I spoke to someone today who works for a vet, and asked her if she had heard of Yumove. She said they sell it at the practice and the rep had called today. It's the only thing of that type that has a money-back guarantee. There is something else that is only available on prescription but I can't remember what it was, I think it was an extract from something beginning with 'B'.
