tonker
I had a call from Scott saying there were a few fields down on the farm next door, and the farmers son had asked him to have a look around. He had lost a few of his Pheasants he had reared and released. so doing our bit, out we went. Unfamiliar ground but nice and dark. We both had Photon 6.5 x 50's. I have a t20 with a doubler on it,and I was pleasantly surprised when setting it up to find that I can happily see 200+yds. That was much better than I was expecting from what I thought was a budget NV set-up. Scott shot his vixen with his 22/250 @ 150 yds and I had the dog at about 110yds with my Rem 700 .222. Now we have to find the den for the cubs, so that will entail a few hours of hedge walking. Edited May 6, 2016 by tonker
