Topgunners
We went out on a newly planted maize field yesterday and set up in 2 hides. Put 10 crow decoys out in front and 6 or so pigeon decoys to the right. Had a nice steady day and picked up 29 pigeons, 88 crows and a magpie between us. Total 118 Lots of high birds and a few double-deckers into the bargain. nice and windy as well. Dave K EDIT. We went out today and drove over 140miles- shot 1 pigeon and found NOWT else. and then it stared to rain. Home time Dave K

Topgunners
Dave it gladdens my heart to see that you don't always fair that much better than the rest of us This happens to ALL of us but we reduce the odds by going out consistently and not giving up too easily. take the rough with the smooth. But we did find some crops that we didn't know had been planted(peas, barley, wheat) for future recce's. Dave K
