longest shot yet

Recommended Posts

So, this morning hasn't been a great morning. Went out after the bunny's again and shot 3 which included my longest shot yet, 232 yards on the rangefinder. I could have sworn it was further because I was knackered by the time id walk there and back  Anyway, good headshot and he dropped down instantly. Unfortunately after that rabbit my screen on the night vision started playing up cutting my night short. Out came the t67, dropped another rabbit at 110 yards with it, to small for the pot (what was left of it anyway, poor thing was facing me on an incline so it went pretty much straight through) anyway, even though it was only a couple of hours and only bagged 4 I still thoroughly enjoyed it. Especially listening to all the arguments in town that's 2 miles away

Only the 1 picture, was a good headshot again however it had scabs all over its body and by the way they were im presuming it was a dog?? http://s1268.photobucket.com/user/bwbiker95/media/Mobile%20Uploads/WP_20160529_02_13_30_Pro_zpsvlosiye3.jpg.html?sort=1&o=0

Oh, and I've never seen so many bloody badgers before!! Saw 4 in a group and another 5 in a group at the other side! Thanks for reading and have a good bank holiday weekend 👍

Seems you getting confident with that rifle now, fair old distance that hendrix, especially at nightime, must have looked a Parish away. What ammo was that, i use hornady vmax through mine.

It is a fair way away, I've got shin splints at the minute so it killed walking to pick it up  I was chuffed if Il be honest. I have shot some paper out to 250 so figured it wouldn't be too far off that, sure enough :) I'm using hornady 17g vmax, id like to try cci but I cant find anyone local that stocks it. I don't think Il be shooting that distance every outing though, Il try and limit it to 150-170 as a max at night!
