The connection fitting will depend on the gun you are trying to fill

on a related topic, what are the requirements that the cylinder has to fulfill?

i say this because i have a welding bottle that goes up to 300bar. i don't use it but could i convert it to charge a PCP if i got one?

Problem is HOW would you get it filled you would have to have it tested AND painted to air specs first and if its acetylene its not an "empty" cylinder it is in fact a large honeycomb totally useless for air, most idest stations would probably refuse you straight off.

now to the other related question I use 15litre CYLINDER! not bottle you get milk in them? and its 232bar reason being I get free air 24/7 @ up to 232 bar and in truth most dive shops will only fill to 232 many do not and dont intend to go to 300. to date I have never yet ran out of air 232 has always been plenty to fill my rapids 400cc cylinders up (I refill my dive cylinders @ 180bar) but if you can get a fill kit ie 300bar cylinder and hose + guage etc for £204 then go for it thats not a bd deal at all, oh and dont worry obout din or A fitting all dive shops can fill both and or can supply adapters oh and yes I have answered two questions here this should also help the other lad re charging pcp guns.

cheers KW
