markm
I have a half decent set of earphones (Shure SE535's to be specific). The jack socket has a loose wire. Are they easy to repair with a new jack? Can you buy them? It seems a shame when the cable is fine. The genuine replacement cable ranges from £40 - £60. You can get cheaper ones on the bay and Amazon, but they get terrible write ups / reviews.
NickS
Do you mean the socket or the plug? Either can be replaced if you can handle a soldering iron. Feel free to send me some pics if you want me to suggest a fix - I may even have something I can send you. Alternatively, send me the cable and I can do it for you.
