tinkertaylor Posted August 1, 2016 Report Share Posted August 1, 2016 hi all ive got a victor sarasqueta o/u single trigger 12g the bottom barrel is starting to miss fire thought it was the fireing pin but been told its the metal piece inside the forend that cocks the pins back into position that's starting to bend which you can see its doing don't want to try and straighten it incase it snaps any ideas where I could get a replacement forend thanks lee Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Gunman Posted August 2, 2016 Report Share Posted August 2, 2016 Doubt that you will get one . Quite few Spanish/Italian guns have a similar problems . There are various names for the piece and some can be adapted to fit other guns .However a lot are cast and dont take to being bent even with heat , they are usually very hard so it i worth checking why it has bent if indeed it has , such as the gape being to great [ thats the amount the gun opens ]as well as checking that it is indeed this cam and not wear on the cocking rods ,lifters if fitted and hammers .
