Glenlivet
My DT10 came with a set of Gemini ported chokes. Never come across them before, does anyone know if they're any good? Any tips on cleaning ported chokes?
TIGHTCHOKE
Soak them in either oil or white spirit contained in a jar with the lid on. All the carp will soak off. Edited August 3, 2016 by TIGHTCHOKE
Gordon R
I had some a couple of years ago - they look well made and comparable with any other quality make. Got rid. They look fancy, but cleaning ported chokes is awful.
Glenlivet
Thanks guys. They seemed OK when I tried the gun before buying on a couple of rounds of skeet. I missed 2 or 3 each round and smoked a lot. Discovered when I got the gun home I'd been shooting 1/2 and 3/4!!! If I'd known I'd have missed a lot more 🤔🤔
Sktshooter15
Hey Glenlivet! Was your DT10 a 29" barrel/76? I bought external Geminis for my 28" barrel and they don't fit - touch each other at the top. A friend of mine had the same problem. Probably the convergence is higher in 28 inch barrels and they touch.
