Andra
Has anyone had any success feeding small drains / waterways for mallard etc its a few feet wide plus or minus a foot at parts. Have often seen small numbers of wild duck on the specific area and wondered if it would be worth buying some feed and scattering in places. motty
I would feed it, as long as the food is in shallow enough water.
AberFowl
Used to feed a few dykes about the size you mention, barley and crab apples in shallow areas, had some success, walking the dykes on a frosty morning made for some testing shots
TONY R
Could try pontoon feeder float idea it works as in if youve no shalow sections you help keep rats and mice off the feed, If you weight it so as its partialy submerged it stops avian species feeding from it to.
