Jonnyni
A Texas man reeled in a 121-pound catfish believed to be the largest catfish ever caught in Texas. "She is the largest blue catfish that has been caught in Texas ... any class," says Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center biologist Genie Hilton. Cody Mullennix, who caught a 60-pound catfish before, reeled in the big one from Lake Texoma using cut shad as bait, reports KLTV-TV in Tyler, Texas. However, instead of becoming 50 fish dinners the giant catfish will become part of the permanent display at the Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center in Athens, Texas, -- in an environment described as "fish heaven."
