AberFowl
Speaking to an old gentleman on the mud this morning after flight I couldn't help but notice the huge lump of a gun he was lugging with him, a plain yet beautiful old 8bore! I have always fancied an old proper fowling gun for my goose flighting, been saving for a while now, seperate savings account just for the right gun, hoping in the not too distant future I will be able to purchase one! The Mrs doesn't understand why I would want such a 'big beast', apparently the selection of 10s I have is enough but she will never quite 'get it' Who has an 8 or 4? Lets see some pics to get us mere mortals dreaming

I don't use it much , just for the odd flight on my holidays,it's far to heavy to carry about ,weighs over 20lb with a 46 inch barrel . Just love taking them out and doing what there supposed to do,, they certainly come into there own at the back end of the season when the geese are a tad wiser. Would love to put some photos up but can't seem to do it,,,,,,, will keep trying
