triumphant59
Makers code, usually 2 letters will be stamped on barrel flat as will date code which will be a letter followed by *1. Let me know what they are and I will identify. My guess is that it is not a sarasqueta.

triumphant59
Hi, can read date code H*1 which I think is 1962 but will double check. What are the letters in the shield below the number 9?

triumphant59
It's actually PP I hadn't noticed the makers stamp in the bottom left corner of your photo of the barrel flats! So the maker back in 1962 was Hijos De Victor Aramberri. Interestingly I have an identical gun made in 62, slightly lower serial number than yours and mine has the makers name stamped on the barrel. I also have one similar with just made in Spain on barrel and it was made by Arrieta!
triumphant59
You mentioned value, if barrels are pit free, bluing is good it's nice and tight and the wood is nicely figured and chequering sharp and unfortunately your photos don't really show this I would value it at around £350/400. However if condition is not perfect value would be less
tiny tim
Brilliant ,well done just google imaged it Exactly right It's a bit rough to be fair, bluing is worn and the stock is scratched and worn One ot the ejectors is sticky and looks worn at the ends I will post a pic tomorrow It's a nice gun and the action is tight My mate wants £
triumphant59
Bluing barrels will cost £100 and you could refinish the wood yourself and you would have a nice useable gun. Funnily enough the ejectors on mine are a bit tempremental but should be easily sorted. I would offer him £200 and suggest that was a fair price.
