wokkywokky
Im looking at the Nitesite RTEK stuff and have a question regarding the different models. They currently do three models starting with the VIPER, then the WOLF and finally the EAGLE. The only difference I can see between the models is the range of the IR. It seems to me that there is a significant price difference between the VIPER and the EAGLE for the extra 400 metres of IR and an increase of 4Ah in the battery. Is there any other difference between these two models that justifies the price increase of £400? Could I add another IR torch to the VIPER and get the same range as the EAGLE? Zetter
Personally I would skip the NiteSite stuff and get something off some of the advertisers over on Night Vision forum. While Nitesite is nicely packaged and has the IR built in anyone doing an E700 camera build with a T50 torch will easily be the equal of their top end stuff for below half the price. Also Dave G on here who is also on Night Vision Forum does add on kits as well as dedicated kits so I would drop him a mail you will save yourself a fortune.
