spandit
I did initally have my lamp remote switch attached with Velcro but it meant sticking Velcro to the stock of which particular rifle I was using at the time and was also noisy to remove if I needed to detach it in the field to change the battery, for example. Had the bright idea of gluing a couple of small magnets to the back of it (melted the Velcro hooks down first to make a flatter surface). Ended up using superglue as UHU didn't stick properly and I had some to hand. Seems pretty firm: Fits quite nicely into the stock cutout on my Sako Finnfire and although the positioning isn't always ideal, it's generally that way especially when I fit a bipod for example, but as a compromise it's pretty good to reach with my left thumb:

spandit
eBay. They're dirt cheap. I bought 2mm ones but have used 2 deep so you'd be better off buying thicker (stronger) ones straight away. Just search for neodymium magnets
