davids3511
Was in local gun shop dropping my lads gun off for a new buttpad when I saw a cheap Bikal for £145. Some family have become interested in the clays but I don't like them using mine or my lads as I don't want them damaged. Purchased the Bikal but on the clays today the spent cartridges kept getting stuck under the ejector in the top barrell, happened 3 times in 100. As the gun was only 145 is it a case of sucking it up or should I return it? Not sure what to do.
CaptainBeaky
Bent ejector body or worn claw? One easily fixed with a vice, the other with a vice and a file! This is a Baikal we are talking about! Edited October 29, 2016 by CaptainBeaky
Rst1990
Take it back fella, it doesn't matter how much money it cost. The dealer bought it in a lot cheaper than you purchased it for if that helps things.
davids3511
Cheers guys, I just wasn't sure of the etiquette with cheap guns. Bent ejector body or worn claw? One easily fixed with a vice, the other with a vice and a file! This is a Baikal we are talking about! Do you mean me in the garage or the dealer in his shop? Daveo26
Mine did exactly the same. It was indeed bent, I bent it a little in the vice and it's never missed a beat since. Is it a single trigger? There 2 things almost no one seems to know about single trigger ejector baikals........

We do know how to select first barrell to fire, what's the second :-) it's not a bad gun, my son was using it today at Mickey hall and he managed 28/30 on one stand. Daveo26
I'd remove the ejectors and closely inspect them on a flat surface. If everything looks ok, I'd probably return it to the gun shop. If the problem becomes obvious, fix it. The second thing is the ejectors can be turned off. By turning a flat head screw for either ejector. Smart idea
sishyplops
Don't take it apart then take t back to the shop as they will have reasonable clause to say you damaged it, just take it back and im sure any decent shop will sort it
