R1nut
I have a range certified weatherby chambered in .223. It came with pillar bedding and a 2 stage trigger. Out of the box it's guaranteed sub moa which it was achieving. I wanted just that little bit more from it so sent it to a rifle builder for a full bed and trigger job, re crown barrel and bolt lap. It came back a totally different rifle, feels so smoth and is now punching one hole at 100mts!!
JRDS
I wouldn't use a Varmint rifle as a base for a NV gun with a Drone plus illuminator if you plan to do much walking. You won't be firing long strings of shots so absolutely no need for a heavy barrelled lump. Edited October 30, 2016 by JRDS
