spandit
I've accumulated quite a few odds and **** of .22LR in my ammo cabinet and it's getting a bit crowded. Amongst the various brands, there are about 30 rounds of CCI Stinger which I found too noisy and inaccurate in my Anschutz 525 but haven't tried them in my Sako Finnfire. Is it likely to alter the zero when I return to subs after using them up? I've ordered some Hardox gongs so can put them out at different distances for some plinking fun. The zero on your scope won't be affected. You'll probably find that the Stingers will be hitting slightly higher than your subsonic ammunition. Do these leave more of a residue in the barrel that will affect things? No biggie, really, I can always just check the zero with subs at a later date

No, I don't think there'll be a problem after, and, as you mentioned, you can just check the zero later.
