markbivvy
look at the hornets film after this. http://www.livevideo.com/video/kiyowaterz/...-crocodile.aspx
kip270
Those Hornets were on the telly the other day, the native bees have a good defence, but the european bees that were introduced cannot defend themselves

Axe
I cant beleive that calf got away after being unted down by the lions then being used as a rope for a game of tug o war between the lions and the croc! I would imagine that I dies later on though, could it really survive?

Suffolk shooter
They showed something similar on BBC2 bit cat diary minus the croc. The calf survived then. I don't see any reason why it wouldn't survive, the Cape buffalo is very resiliant. Good film though, gotta feel sorry foor the lions. When its not going for you, it really isn't. Keith
Amazing video mark. Never seen that before. Lions sometimes come off worse - these pictures show a big male I saw in the Kalahari in botswana last year who'd got on the wrong side of a porcupine. http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=82146&id=575461418 http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=82147&id=575461418 http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=82149&id=575461418 And this lion had been killed by something else - maybe another luion - and stripped bare by vultures and jackals
