oxfordfowler Posted December 7, 2016 Report Share Posted December 7, 2016 I am sure that most of you will have seen the news ( TV & Radio) this morning covering the latest Avian Flu outbreak. All across Europe at the moment. For those of you that missed it - all Poultry/Duck & Geese should be locked inside or if not practical all precautions taken to keep the wild bird population separated from feed, water and areas used by the domestic birds. DEFRA is also asking that people report any instances of dead or ill wildfowl, waders, Gulls etc. I am sure our shooting orgs and wildfowling clubs will be issuing guidance at some point but until then folks please be aware.
