Catamong
The Herts and Essex County Sporting Championships are on this weekend at Hepworth Hall SG in Essex. It will be a 100 bird layout probably over 12 stands, with the course being set by John Dyson. Those of us who shot the Essex Masters there last month can have another go at getting a decent score at this ground, , it is always a good shoot and well worth a visit. Entries for the Saturday are by phone only, look on the CPSA website fixtures list to get the number or any other info you require. On Sunday you can just turn up and shoot. I'm shooting on Saturday morning, as I'm then off up to Manchester to shoot the North of England Sporting Championship at Worsley Grange on Sunday, which, if the weather forecast is to be believed, is going to be a washout. . Mungler
I might see what I can squeeze in. Cat, are they heavily booked up for Saturday. Sunday looks like a blanket of rain.

Mungler
I reckon so. I will have to do my local but will be done by 11.30 a.m. I will give the fella a ring tomorrow and see what is available tomorrow p.m from 1.00 p.m. onwards and will give you a buzz. PM me your mobile no again so I don't have to plough through a trillion PMs to find it.
Catamong
Obviously you guys didn't make it.? It was a tough layout over 12 stands, the weather wasn't too bad when we shot mid morning, but all of my squad struggled, I can't imagine what sort of scores were shot on Sunday when the weather worsened. I did a 78 , my mate did an 81 and young Scott Greenfield who won the British last year and shot with us could only manage an 82, so that's an indication of how tough it was. Cat. pin
I've had a voicemail notification this morning, just listened to it now and it was from you Cat, on Sat Bloody orange Nope didn't make it, Mungler had a poorly belly, by the time I made me mind up to go it was too late for a phone entry only leaving Sunday - the weather forecast put an end to that I wish I had shot it though, need to try harder to make it to these things
