Don, reference the pint that you claim I owe you!

I'm sure that Lancslad will buy you one from me, then he will owe me one less

Lancs

Message from McF and myself, Why does it matter how many birds the shoot is? as you will still be left with a pile of empty cartridges and a zero on your card.

Please save the cartridges in tact, shout bang when the bird comes, same effect, you can give me the cartridges.

Tis true that I have not shot for several weeks, but upto last weekend I had to dodge the weather. The executive rabbit hutch, with spiral stair case, brass fittings, shingled roof etc, will soon be finished.

I've not been to my place in the lakes for about 5 weeks, I'll need a machete to get to the door.

Don

No forklift on site to lift the construction into place. So many thanks for your offer of a lift. Dont know about the brown ale, but should manage some bucks fizz (pun)

Enjoy yourselves at tabley, I hope you dont get too wet.

Tabley is a good little game fair.

But, as always, get there early to beat the traffic and have space to get a decent mooch in the trade stands

Don

Me and my bud went today, nice little fair,

borrowed a gun that didn't fit me but managed 26/35 on compak.

cost me £20. ooooh. for 35 birds.

but NO shottie stands , so we went up in the helicopter instead. £25 well spent.

we arrived at 10 am and went straight in. NO queuing.

summing up for £6 a good day out specially for the bin lid's and struggle.

by the way seemed to be a lot of cheshire and lanc's lads cadging beer

I never got to the beer tent..........................

So,,,what did we all think.................for a small fair I thought it was OK,,as previously said no shotty stuff and not a lot of pigeon stuff there either.

just 1 place selling flappers as far as I could see...........

Bit of a let down on that side of it,,,,,,,,,but still spent all day there.

1 word of aggro though...................PEOPLE CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR DOGS..............

Why do you think its ok to let them **** and then have other people walk through it............YOUR IDIOTS..

Still, I replaced my mole skins that I ripped late last year, and got some bits to make a walking stick....

Job done.

Didnt take the gun with me as I didint fancy paying 20 quid for 35 birds.................unless they were "birds"...and the traps were operated in the topless variety...

hi all,

good to meet up with a few of you today and thanks don for the Clips - i had quite a good day (most of it spent with Magman, Jason (Magman's son) and Ap1Shooter - good blokes and had a laugh with em!

i did shoot but not too well ( 20 / 35 on compact and 4 / 12 on the pool shoot  ) but fun all the same.

also had a good deal from Paul Hart on a pair of boots.

like others have said not a great game fair, but not a bad day out all in all.

Cheers paul
