Wingman
Guys I have searched and read lots of Internet posts but remain a little confused by the choke markings on the tubes with my MT6 gun. I have the following tubes 2, 5, 7, 10 and another 5 Both fives were in the gun and the previous owner told me that was all he used but from what I can tell that makes 3/4 in both barrels, a bit tight for clays I think. The one marked 2 is showing a slight of damage on the end that goes into the gun so I am not sure I'll want to use that one, or would it be ok? Paul1440
you have (2)1/4, (5) 2x1/2, (7) 3/4 & (10) Full. The way to work it out is:- Constrictions are in 0.1mm Full choke is 10 x 0.1mm = (obviously) 1 mm which is more or less 40 thou in old money. 5x0.1mm is 0.5mm which is 20 thou.(half choke) 2.5 would be true 1/4 choke 2 is slightly more open but near enough.
