Wingman
Hey all, happy Friday! Does anyone have any pointers in how to disassemble a little folding 20 bore I have acquired? I want to strip it down to refinish the stock and give it a general clean and service, only I cant see how it comes apart. It has a couple of pins in the action but just wondered if anyone had done this and could give me some advice. Its a "Mavi di Salvanelli" 20 bore folding single, can post pics if needed.. Thanks
Gunman
The one screw through the bottom tang and a pin through the action so the trigger plate comes away? Doubt its a stock bolt but there are variations .
bruno22rf
Seem to recall this was an ASA brand that became Investarm - look on the investarm website and you should find a parts diagram - pretty sure its a stock bolt on these though - remove the butt plate and all will be revealed. Wingman
Ok sorted it pretty obvious really, it has a large hex headed bolt that thread into the top tang all the way through the wrist of the stock. Undid removed and cleaned it. Another quick question I want to replace the main barrel hinge bolt and the small screw at the rear of the trigger guard. On the off chance anyone has some spares for these I would be interested! Whilst it's a cheap gun my son is chuffed to bits with his first proper shotgun so I want to tidy it up a bit to teach him to have pride in his guns..
