bakerboy
I have a Brass Poppy, The Somme special edition, made from Shells fired at the Somme and Earth from the Somme Battlefields super heated and turned into enamel, it is a Beautiful thing. When it arrived it came with a certificate dedicating to a particular Soldier; Private T R Ross Durham Light Infantry Service number 20/642 Died 17/09/1916 Buried Dartmoor Cemetery Becordel-Becourt I have tried many ways to find descendants of this Soldier without success (including the regiment) I would like this Poppy to go to where it really belongs. If at this fair you can help me by way of placing an advert or something I would appreciate it. I would of course require some proof. Cheers Terry
