tonker
Probably been done but here goes. I have a CZ.17hmr with a Meopta r1 scope atop for daytime Rabbits, and add on Nv for later. I have a Rem 700 .222 with 6.5x50 Photon for night time foxing. I have a howa 1500 sporter for the Deer and anything else Also have a brno Mod 1 (1940 ish) .22lr never comes out now. A number of shotguns for different days out. Have any of you got a pet all rounder calibre for everything? and why? or are we all like me, and if you wish to say what you shoot I'd be very interested. Cheers lads
Harry Callahan
CZ 452 Varmint .17HMR, up until now it has been my sole rifle. Used for rabbits and crows. Hawke 6-24x50ir ontop of it. This week I have just bought a brand new PUMA .22lr and have put my old scope on it - a Bushnell 3-9x40. I got the slot for this when I renewed in the autumn because of the shortages in HMR ammo. It will mostly be a dedicated bunny basher and I'm toying with saving up for NV... Shotgun wise: Norica 3-shot b/a .410 great gun with the ferrets on bolting rabbits. Doesn't get much use, but hopefully that will change in time. Browning B26 12g. Just on clays at moment, but potentially driven birds in the future, too.
