GREENGRASS
I photographed a pool about 10 days ago approximately 150 Bream and Roach all decent fish even to my none fishing eyes. Images forwarded to the Bailiff and canal river trust Manager. http://blackfordsprogressiveanglingsociety.co.uk/bream-stocking-calfheath-feb-2017/ I payed a visit today saw 2 fishermen but not catching then this Cormorant appeared from no where, I never even saw him drop onto the water. I observed him diving near the reads in the image numerous times until he appeared with what he was obviously after. The fish did take some getting down about 5 minutes in total. The Cormorant stayed on the water for a short while then took off as he disappeared a bloody another one dropped onto the same location. The light had gone and so was I. I will be forwarding the images to the persons above for reference. GG
Penelope
The black plague, doing what it does best. A couple of nice roach/bream hybrids in the second picture on the club's web page.
