Hunter
Not that many people are interested, I did a major job on the cutting deck of a Toro wheel horse (got pics if anyone wants) One of the jobs was sorting out the blades. They were on the deck so tight they wont undo due to rusted bolts (no amount of blow torching and WD40 will fix that So I did an in place repair. Serface cleaned via grinding, and then a line of Mig weld. And a quick grind then file, and the blade is good as new Cuts a treat now, should last a another year. lurcherboy
Thats a good weld for an edge Hunter and definetly better than I would do in one line LB
Hunter
Positional welding is tough and take practice. All I did was a years training course in Hastings college (basic Mig, Tig) but the rest is self tought. Heres some more pics of the deck.. What a mess!.. Bridging mig weld, covering a gap is tough work, takes time, and concentration.. was hard work in a leather jacket in full sunshine on a 25c day!
