naddan28
At st edmunds school in Kent, Hartley Alleyne who has lived in england for 29years played cricket for the west indies, Kent, Buckinghamshire and Worcestershire who now teaches cricket at St Ed's school in canterbury is being deported. Why? As he does not hold an NVQ level 3 in cricket so not qualified to teach it! http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/6644269.stm How bonkers! Poacher
he only applied for a work permit 2 years ago, whats he been doing for the last 27years ?? I can't understand why an NVQ is seen as better qualification then playing for one of the best (back in the day) cricketing nations in the world, pure beauracrcy bull, just another wonderful thing about our great country
njc110381
What a great idea, send him home! That way we'll have space for a new assylum seeker that wants to come here for the easy life, scrounging from the state and robbing old ladies. After all we don't need anyone skilled any more do we? We're an open prison for the rest of the worlds scum. This country is a joke
Dead-Eyed Duck
What a great idea, send him home! That way we'll have space for a new assylum seeker that wants to come here for the easy life, scrounging from the state and robbing old ladies. After all we don't need anyone skilled any more do we? We're an open prison for the rest of the worlds scum. This country is a joke Now come on...... There's plenty of space left in this fair country for all the world's poor and needy. Where is your sympathy for the undernourished and helpless?? As long as they all lodge in Ken's fair city I have not problem with this at all. In fact, preferably they all lodge in his street, or front garden, to show solidarity. Or even, as Tony Bliar is now doing his tour of Africa to show all that he has achieved for our country cousins, how about him making space for them on his estate?? He can then erect his version of the White House and have no lack of staff to cater for his every whim. We can't have Cherie brought down to our level can we, High Socialist that she is? Ah, Utopia Don
naddan28
I heard about him being deported but when I found out it was the lack of the NVQ I just laughed! Its ridiculous, an international & UK county cricketer needs an NVQ Level 3 to teach cricket! Its like telling Roger Federer he couldn't teach tennis without one!
