hello, i just bought one, try the open sights first, i have just put some extra grease on spring if you take out of stock can do with small brush, carefull with the screw bolts as found one on front bad thread, bought pack of 5M x 20mm cut down 3mm more length than originals and replaced both, to long no good, i took off rail stop as screws to long and sparky tape over holes to stop water ingress, I find air arms field good but need a good press in.best springer scope will be a hawke, buy a scope stop that fits on rail, or use some shorter screws in rifle rail.
