guzzicat
Just back after 3 weeks in U/S part of which included memorial day in Washington, 90,000 motorcycles parading to Capitol / White house & thousands of people standing in the rain cheering, about a dozen riders (anputees?) riding sixties Vespa & Lambretta scooters, I surmised amputees as these are step through & hand change, great atmosphere especially in the Iron Horse biker bar that night ,I was struck by the courtesy shown by young people to these Korean & Vietnam veterans, especially at the 38th parallel & Iwo Jima monuments, .This was to be seen across the states over the whole week TV stories including a ten year old boy who has spent all of his money visiting war cemetaries & putting U/S flags on graves.I can still hear the sound of those ranks of Harleys. Mice!
That sounds like an impressive sight to see, not something you will forget or probably see again
