jam1e
nissan x trail now seems better value for money i.e. mileage age vs price than a crv good luck Penelope I was in the same boat, and did end up with the X-Trail. I preferred the X-Trail's ability to turn the '4x4' system on or off, or to auto setting. Although my friend's CR-V handled the same ground with the same ease. He did have an issue with it, if i recall rightly, it was something to do with the '4x4' system needing a fresh oil change. But that's from memory... B391
Check out the Duster NCAP. I think it is only a 3 star. That for me makes it a NO. My Family are far too precious to skimp on vehicle safety. I have had 6 Land Rovers - non have broken down and none have cost me a fortune. I have had 1 x FL1 and 2 x FL2. My current one has been faultless and been all over europe, in fields, muddy tracks etc and goes anywhere I want. I have MIchelin Lattitude Cross tyres on it which I think are 70/30 road/off-road tyres. It's the SD4 190 BHP auto and average 33 for short journeys and 40 on long runs,
