Seadog1408
Does any of our resident experts know the size/thread of the plug screws that sit in the scope mount holes of a 9410 receiver? I have found them on Midwest website part 66a, however they are out of stock and don't give size/thread info. TIA Mike
welshwarrior
At a guess 6-48 if it's for sight mounting
Seadog1408
At a guess 6-48 if it's for sight mounting After a few hours research I think you are correct, I so thank you for that, just need to find a UK supplier that doesn't rape me on postage!!, brownalls want £1.20 for the screws and £8.85 postage!!! JJsDad
If you are refering to Brownalls UK, their outrageous postage is down to them importing from the US. I had a similar response over a small part that was a matter of £10 - £12 and they wanted that ammount again for postage. JJsDad
If these screws are in fact 6-48 as suggested by welshwarrior I believe they are the same as fitted to the Remington 700 short action. I would give Fultons of Bisley a ring as they do a lot of work on rifle actions and may just have some that they have removed when fitting scope blocks. welshwarrior
Their the same as all sight plugs on nearly all rifles
