Graham M
If you have a SAK mod on then the noise shouldn’t be more than a HV .22rf. G.M.

Dave-G
I stayed about 30 yards behind my brother last week while he fired the HMR - all I heard was a minor pop. I guess the sonic shockwave didn't travel very far behind the gun. I have also asked one of my farmers if he hears my shooting near his house - only when I'm right next to it was the reply. Just point it away from the house (as you would anyway) and even a tree would screen a lot of the noise - in fact if you shoot at a tree line most of the noise will come back at you.
