subsonicnat
You Buy the Butt Pad oversize on the,,Length,Width,And Thickness required.. You the FIT IT, either by blanking off the origanl screw holes as they very rarely line up.. When locked on the stock, use two layers of tape to protect the stock,,Linish it or disk sand to 1 layer of tape...GREAT CARE IS NEEDED,,or you will mark your stock.. And cause a lot of work,,personaly when down to 1 layer I carefully file to very close fit.. Take off wood and very fine wet and dry and liquid wax, polish it,Refit to Gun.. B O L. subsonicnat
I kid you not,,,a belt sander locked tight in the vice will be your best friend. Steadyness and a good eye watching the tape for signs of touching.. Used to do loads for the local shop, sadly now closed like good many more.. He retired,So am I now..lol.
