Big Al
I paid £50 for a slab of 12 gauge clay cartridges 2 weeks ago. I know that prices have gone up due to sterling v. Euro exchange rates but surely there must be cheaper ones available. Anyone in NI heard of (or bought) cheaper shells than these?
tweedledee
I haven't bought shells in a while but I'd reckon that's not far away for something half decent
Simuk
Paid £170 for 1000 Eley olympic blue from Lavin about a month ago. Someone over here selling Joker carts as well and I think they're around the £40 a slab mark.

Not too fancy - I generally go for the cheapest I can get operating on the principle that the worst cartridge in the world is still better than me. tweedledee
sometimes the fuel and time running to buy cheaper elsewhere you aren't much better off....gb would be a better shell than the jocker
Big Al
sometimes the fuel and time running to buy cheaper elsewhere you aren't much better off....gb would be a better shell than the jocker Maybe you are right. Prices go up. I've been shooting for over 30 years - 30 years ago I remember paying £4 for a box of Eley Grand Prix. Not clay loads but I suppose inflation hasn't been too unfair.
