panoma1
In 12g it is a waste of money on both case and the extra wad column required.......not to mention the faffing about getting the wad column to the right height in order to close the case properly!........dunno how/if the extra height of wad column required would affect ballistics /pressures? Best use 3" cases or cut the 3.5" cases down to 3" and use a wad column height, as per a tested formula!

lancer425
Just to make it clear What i called BB is in fact what they term as 0 it is between BB And US BB at 4.25mm true US BB is 4.57mm. Bismuth 0 is 68 to the oz so your 2oz are about 20 more pellets than lead in that size. 136 pellets , you loading 1.5 oz 42 gram you would be 102. Guest cookoff013
Makes sense. By my reckon bismuth is 0.888x the density of lead shot.
lancer425
This Bismuth is 9.6 with 42 gram you could load the 1s which are 4mm you would get 122 pellets then. Edited August 10, 2017 by lancer425
