given the price of subsonic 20g ammunition is it cheaper to reload ?

 

i would have thought a product where you get less would be cheaper but i suppose market forces arent there to drive volume.

can I confirm how you check speed, just using a chronograph like with an air rifle / CF ?

 

also where should i look to get a complete 20g reloading setup ? what am i looking at initial outlay wise ?

I use a Chrony F1. I also use a Mec progressive press as I churn out several hundred at a time but personally if I was starting again would have at least a Mec600jr. My recipe is based on using Vectan A0 propellant but that is hard to get hold of now. Good job I've about 5kg to use up.
