Rich 1970
This gun seems to come in all calibres, I was thinking of a .17HMR as it would be for rabbit and crow work mainly. Does anyone have one of these, have they had any problems? Does any particular calibre suit the gun more than another? Has anyone got any reccomendations for an alternative, of simular price? I don't shoot anything bigger than a rabbit. Thanks, Richard.

dunganick
very good guns, very heavy and over engineered, but this isnt nessicarily a bad thing. Top gun, Dont like the hunch back stock and the bolt is stiff to close on the one ive used. Look also at Anschutz or maybe even cooper for that money
tulkyuk
Buy 1 - you will never have any trouble with it and they shoot like a wet dream, sub 1/4" at 100yrds. there again i might be a bit bias towards them ( look at signiture ) and here is a pic of 1 for you. Cheers Paul

Peter_HMR
No experience with them but have heard very good things CZ also something to consider very good rifles and very well priced and shoots with the best other pop .17's are the sako quad which are a very good rifle and the anschutz those two being a good bit more expensive than a CZ and not nesecarily more accurate. dunganick
more expensive than a CZ and not nesecarily more accurate. oooooooooooooo..... tin hats on anschutz is more consistantly accurate than a CZ, dont care what anyone says, cz are made to price, i should know ive got one. CZ just use very good barrels, so when the wood work isnt touching the barrel and the odd front lug hasnt screwed up the resonance (spelt wrong) of the barrel, they do shoot good groups. But a anschutz will walk all over it on day to day consistancy.
