rob-d
i used to do a lot of stonework up until about 4 years ago. the last pricework job i did i was on £60 per msq and the main contractor let us have the use of his forklift and driver which helped. But that was a while ago not sure what the rates are now.
mowdy
We do Stone masonry for New stone in cement £60 msq built with lime mortar you would be looking at £80 Msq and to build old used stone it could be more depending on wall thickness and size of stones etc. It also depends on how many meters you can build in a day ? we can set over 10 meters of new stone a day and with old stone you may only do 2 or 3 mtrs a day depending on the job⚒ Also if it is build with lime /lime pointed the rate changes.......
