ph5172
Hi Guys A quick question, Would you consider renting a shooting landrover for your shooting trips? ie a week in Ireland or Scotland or even just a weekend to cover lots of ground on your shooting patch? Obviously depending on your shooting it could have a open back for carridge of equipment, shooting platform, game platform with hooks You get the idea. Piebob
Methinks someone smells a business opportunity Not a bad idea I guess, especially for shooting trips rather than shooting on your own patch. So my answer would be yes, if I was on a shooting holiday I might hire.
pin
Many of us have trucks but wouldn't always want to travel a distance in them, so having the use of one at your destination would be mighty handy. As would hiring one from a company who expect you to take it offroad, get it full of bunny juice and feathers and the like.

Lancs Lad
Working for a car hire firm............ If you are thinking about it........then be prepared for lots of damage,,,,,,,,,,,lots of Personal injury claims.... And thats if you can find an insurance company that will provide you with an affordable policy. You wont be able to put it on someone elses policy as a replacement vehicle as its not.....and they have no "insurable interest" in the vehicle.... We are a multi billion dollar company, we have the fortunate ability to self insure for damage done to our vehicles. We stand the cost of repairs after taking you for about £600 in excess claims......However the 3rd party costs is what REALLY HURTS....
