pin Posted June 24, 2007 Report Share Posted June 24, 2007 Not wanting to be funny but there is a url on the drawing http://www.solorb.com/elect/pwm/pwm1/index.html has the parts list. please note I've not built this and couldn't vouch for how well it would suit a magnet. That said substituting Q1 for a suitably beefy FET and heatsink with adequate thermal dissipation, I am almost certain it would be perfect. Looking at the prices for "one off" most of these large current FET's, its not worth building one, fleabay sellers have suitable PWM controllers pre-built for £20.
