This whole thing is actually a bit of a funny story. I purchased what I thought was a cheap Turkish over under. Nice looking gun to be fair, loved the wood. SST, vented rib, walnut stock, alloy receiver..... really nice Clay / pigeon gun..... So what did it cost ? £70 and the gun was new being sold because sadly the owner passed away. Well he bloody didn’t like me buying his gun that’s for sure! I got the wood done ( couple of bumps and small crack in forensics ) now the gun looked new! I was invited to a Clay shoot by a mate. He’s not the best shot but not the worst for sure. Great opportunity to test my new gun..... this was a long standing club full of hard core Clay shooters. Well **** me I couldn’t hit a bloody thing......one chap came over and said “don’t worry mate, it’s hard when your new to shooting.... stick with it and you will get better) **** me and blow me over I’ve owned shotguns and firearms since I was 17 that’s some 30 odd years of shooting.... new be forked! Top it all off they asked my mate to join them at a comp following week! Well I set up a trap on my own land and tested this gun..... couldn’t hit a bloody thing over 15 yards.... Turned out both chokes were open! Shortly after that a firing pin snapped and due to the manufacture closing some years ago had to get one made. I managed to find some extended chokes online and to be fair the gun shoots bloody great..: Now I need a choke key for the extended chokes.....

Deer will always call you a liar. I have heard many people say deer will not do this or that, then suprise suprise, next day they are doing exactly what they are not supose to be doing. My gut feeling is that given your location, it's likely to be a red stag from the deer farm, but to be honest there isn't enough info to make a correct identification. There are fallow, more fallow than reds in your area and I have heard of sporadic roe activity as well as Muntjac, but IMHO both are very unlikely to be in your area. John

What colour is the deer? Can you see spots of a dappled effect on the deer? Is the deer a red colour all over the body? The antler, is it bigger than the head? wide and easily visable? The cordial (sp) patch on a fallow is visable but then to be honest roe can be mixed up with fallow if you are not sure of the deer species. It would be unlikely to be a fallow grazing with cattle (although I have seen fallow and cattle, fallow hate sheep more than cattle). There are reds, fallow and the odd roe in your area. John

There are many ways to earn "extra" income, three spring to mind. What about providing all sky channels for £5 per month! 100% legal... One thing that the Mrs & I used to do many years ago was to go to local fairs with a football game, £1 per go and we used to make £200 per weekend profit... The one thing I have always said I would do if I fell on hard times is local mole catching, I work as a full time pest controller and know that the bigger companies are charging £100 per mole, well I would catch the mole next day and for just £50. The problem is that no matter which way you try and earn extra cash, it will take extra time and extra effort. We have a little boy who is just a year and a half old. Money is tight as the Mrs gave up her part time job. I move to another company who offered a higher income but cash is still tight. Problem is by the end of the week all I want to do is spend what little time I have with our little one and to be honest am too knackered to do much else. We have cut back, sold our 4x4 (£550 per year insurance, £120 per month fuel, £280 a year tax) for a small diesel car (£200 a year insurance, £40 per month fuel, £30 per year tax). Stopped paying sky £80 per month, starter to shop wise for food £60 per week instead of £100, most foods are from scratch now, left overers frozen etc. We looked at all our out goings and shopped around. To be honest we have exactly the same things, just purchased in a wise way. Masses saved and as I was once told, a penny saved is a penny earned. Good luck, but I think you might be chasing rainbows. Just outside of Cardiff, near Pontypridd. John

Will take £100?

QUALITY roof box and bars. Our 4x4 had to go, so up for grabs is a large roof box and very good quality roof bars. I used them on a frontera, but would suit most cars & 4x4's. Like having a second boot for all the camping kit or hunting kit. Box has had lock replaced with a sliding knob, easy to switch back if needed. £220 ono or part ex .410 stuff or why John

Is it a version A or B? John

Might be interested. What reg? What sort of mileage? Mot & tax?
-
Forgot to add its also Automatic, which is great with the engine. Oil also changed in auto box, which as you would expect with such low miles, is perfect.
-
Just a quick post for now to see if there is any interest. 2000 (w) reg, 45000 genuine miles on the clock. Three door sports, twin sunroof, aircon etc. I know of nothing at all wrong with this car. 10 months MOT, 3 Tax. Only selling due to the Mrs struggling to get our little boy in to his seat (we need a five door). £1500 John
