Delwint
Has anyone bought or used a trail cam that sends you a text of the picture the trail cam takes? To me it sounds like a great idea. You would know instantly when a fox had triggered your camera, along with the date and time. It also saves the effort of going out in the field and playing back what's been recorded. Edited January 13, 2018 by Delwint
hawkeye
Mine does that but looked into it about 3 years ago so every time anything triggers it you get a pic... good thought i then found out you were charged 35pence for every picture... So didn't bother and was pleased as well as the first night i had it set up i ended up with over 150 pics of the dairy herd passing by would have cost a fortune... Delwint
? hadn't given that a thought. Maybe I'll stick with one that records on an sd card
Dougy
As above, good idea until you have the former put a flock of sheep in the field. Can turn out to be rather expensive, I put one camera out, not the mms type. And ended up with over 2000 pictures of Texel's. Oh and not one Fox.
