Super 10 queries

Got myself a super 10 and few questions here. It’s .177, 18ft/lb and has the smaller 200cc bottle.

1. How many shots should I expect to get to a fill.

2. Is 232 bar the correct pressure to fill to.

3. How do you know when the pressure is too low? Is it as simple as noting when they shots start to drop off or does it stop firing or what?

4. Is there any buddy bottles that come with a pressure gauge on them? Bound to be a handy thing to know. Least you would have an idea of when to refill.

It depends on the barrel length of course .But I'd guess you should get around 45 shots from 230 bar down to around 140 bar .

As for knowing .id fill to 230 bar and at 50 yds id shoot an inch target until the pellets start to drop out the bottom of the inch .count em - This is your shot count .

I think you can get an aftermarket gauge that fits the s10 .

But really its not necessary . Once you have done the above .Just fill your gun and count your pellets into a pot .shoot them all and the refill your gun .

Also at 18 fpe. You will need to shoot either. 10.4 grn bisley magnums 

Or 10.3 grn jsb exact heavies. These give a velocity of around 880 fps at 18 fpe .ish. 

Also bismags usually shoot very well through bsa barrels. 

Lighter 8.4 grn pellets will probably go too fast becoming unstable .

Personally i like 8.4 grn exacts at 16 fpe. Around 900 fps. .

Thanks for the replies. Yep it’s on my cert, need a cert over here for all guns. I’ll just have to spend a few hours some day then to see what it’s doing and take it from there. Must go and see what pellets I have here too.
